Design and Engineering
Zoomy's Design and Engineering Services will provide you with the network architecture, the capital and operating expenses, a detailed bill of materials, and drawings. These services include:
- Determination of network architecture
- AutoCAD drawings of the design
- Detailed engineering with underground structures, conduit and fiber optic cable. Leased circuits, built networks and dark fiber leases will all be taken into consideration to maximize existing infrastructure.
- Fiber and network distribution routes, handholds, manholes.
- An estimate of cost for labor and materials
- Review of zoning maps along with land use, master and transportation plans including current construction activity.
- Meetings with and discussion of possibilities for joint trench agreements and cooperation with other utilities
Business Planning
- Business projections (P&L, Cashflows, Financing, Assumptions) based upon preliminary design and engineering, bill of materials, costing, revenue projections and business models for consideration.
- Marketing assistance
- RFP creation and vendor relations management, grant writing

Project Management
Zoomy can manage your project implementation from soup to nuts. Project management services include:
- Procurement of all materials and circuits
- Coordination of all aspects of project implementation
- Placement and testing of the optical equipment gear, and components of video, voice and data services that are applicable to the FTTP network.
- Supervision of fiber optic cable placement for the fiber backbone routes and fiber distribution routes. Zoomy will supervise the fiber network construction- cable and conduit placement and placement of closures, ensuring all closures are properly placed and grounded.
Construction Management
Zoomy will oversee the construction and implementation of your project. Construction management services include:
- Inspection of materials and cable
- Performance testing of network, line loss testing of the network and documentation.
- Integration testing with the service provider. Zoomy will test inbound/outbound circuits for packet loss and signal loss in compliance with telecom standards.
Headend Design and Build
- Equipment rack sizing and placement
- Rack space requirements
- Power requirements, fire suppression, backup power and mechanical systems
- AutoCAD drawings of the headend design
- Implementation of headend construction
