Location

Responsibilities of the position include:

• Works with the Builders to comply with inside wiring guidelines
• Understands when a NID needs to be installed
• Places NID equipment
• Splices fiber
• Provisions Customer (remotely)
• Updates Zoomy Customer Database
• Construction Management; oversees subcontractors
• Creates As-builts
• Creates and manages change orders
• Creates and manages disconnects
• Responds to alarm monitoring events or issues
• Responds to trouble calls from the Service Provider

Industry Experience Qualifications

• 2+ years of telecommunications experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent team player
• Demonstrated understanding of FTTH
• Fiber Splicing and testing experience

Technical Qualifications

• Practical knowledge and experience with some, if not all of the following technologies: telecom system architecture, IPTV, CATV (network/cable television), VoIP, IP broadband services
• Practical knowledge and experience with some, if not all of the following real estate developmental components: real estate development build-out schedule, key timeline factors, power/electric/sewer and telecommunication utility requirements
• Strong aptitude for learning new technologies including: VoIP, IPTV and Wireless technologies
• Ability to communicate the integration of network television, video, internet, voice and data applications to both technical and non-technical audience
• Easily trainable
