ZoomyCo’s CEO, Diane Kruse, elected as Chairman-Elect To Fiber-to-the-Home Council’s Board of Directors
ATLANTA, GEORGIA--January 20, 2005--The Fiber-to-the-Home Council recently announced its newly-elected Board of Directors and officers for the 2005 year. Zoomy Communications (ZoomyCo’s) founder and CEO, Diane Kruse was elected as Chairman-Elect for the Council.
Kruse’s responsibilities this year will be overseeing the Council’s national conference to be held in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino October 3-6th. At last year’s conference in Orlando, the FTTH Council had over 1200 participants from over 40 countries. Keynote speakers from last year’s conference included FTTH-expert attorney Jim Baller, Congressman Rick Boucher, and the President of Verizon’s Network Services, Paul Lacouture. At this year’s conference, over 2300 participants are anticipated.
Other FTTH Council Board of Directors members include: Michael DiMauro, FTTH Council’s past President and acting Executive Director, Doug Dowling from Tyco, Optical Solution’s John Griffin, Wes Rosenbaum from the City of Bristol, VA, Robert Whitman from Corning, and Atlantic Engineering’s Leonard Ray.
